This past year has been very busy for us - it started with the birth of our daughter, Siena Rose, born on her due date which was also ironically President Obama's inauguration day! She is a very happy girl and is now an avid crawler, cruiser and even climber - she'll be walking any day now. It is really fun to watch Siena and Shea chase each other around the living room, giggling the whole time! She also has decided that even though she only has 2 teeth, she wants to eat whatever we are eating which includes waffles, cooked carrots, peas, zucchini, french fries, grilled cheese and of course, Cheerios.
Shea started preschool this year and really loves it! His vocabulary has grown incredibly (so much now that he can really talk your ear off!) and loves to tell us all about his day and sing all the songs he learns at school.. over and over and over! (so cute!). Shea is also a very good big brother and is very caring to his "baby". His all time favorite thing to do (besides playing catch) is Lego's! He received many sets over the holidays so he spends a lot of time creatively building things (and his Mommy really likes to help!) Shea loves to help in the kitchen and is really a pesto expert (he knows his basil from rosemary in the garden too!). He also loves to make pancakes and cookies. Now he is looking forward to a new season of baseball and hoping the Mets to better this year...
